About Me

Clarity, Responsibility, and Relationship on Equal Ground

My name is Oliver Fialova. I work as a couples counselor and systemic coach with a clear focus on online couples coaching.
I support couples and individuals who want to recognize stuck relationship patterns, take responsibility for their own behavior, and develop new ways of staying connected—even when it feels difficult or uncomfortable.

My Approach

Relationship work is not about harmony at any cost.
For me, it means acting like an adult in relationship: staying accountable, setting clear boundaries, and remaining present in connection with others.

My work is not about assigning blame or endlessly analyzing problems.
At the center is a simple but demanding question:

How do you personally contribute to the pattern you are stuck in—and what do you need in order to respond differently?

How I Work

My work is based on Relational Life Therapy (RLT) developed by Terry Real.
This approach combines clarity with connection, confrontation with support, and responsibility with compassion.

In practice, this means:

  • relationship over ego

  • responsibility instead of blame

  • clear and respectful confrontation rather than avoidance

  • practice and skill-building instead of insight alone

I work in a structured, direct, and relationship-centered way.
Lasting change does not come from understanding alone, but from developing new relational skills and practicing them in everyday life.

Why This Work Matters to Me

My own life experience confronted me early on with instability, relationship breakdowns, and the question of personal responsibility.
These experiences shaped my interest in relationship dynamics, attachment, and adult accountability—not as theory, but as lived reality.

Today, this does not show up as personal storytelling in my work, but as attitude:
I meet people with respect and honesty—without protecting them from themselves, and without leaving them alone.

Professional Framework & Qualifications

I am a trained systemic coach and currently in the advanced certification process of Relational Life Therapy (RLT).

My work is couples counseling and coaching.
It is not psychotherapy and does not replace medical or psychotherapeutic treatment.

I work intentionally online, as this setting provides a clear and focused framework—especially in situations of high emotional tension, recurring conflict, or physical distance between partners.

Who I Work With

I work with people who:

  • are willing to take responsibility for their own behavior

  • see relationship as a practice, not just a feeling

  • are ready to look honestly at their patterns

  • value clear and direct feedback

I do not work with people who:

  • are only looking for confirmation that the other person is the problem

  • avoid confrontation

  • are seeking a traditional therapeutic treatment

Invitation

If you—on your own or as a couple—are ready to engage honestly with your relationship patterns and practice new ways of relating, I’m happy to accompany you in this process.

Where and how I work

Online Couples Coaching – Relational, Clear, and Responsible

I offer online couples coaching for partners who feel stuck in recurring conflict, emotional distance, or patterns that keep pulling them apart.

My work is based on Relational Life Therapy (RLT) developed by Terry Real.
It is relationship-centered, direct, and responsibility-focused. Rather than assigning blame or striving for harmony at all costs, we work on developing adult relationship skills—taking responsibility, interrupting unhelpful patterns, and staying connected, even in conflict.

Together, we focus on:

  • clear and honest communication

  • shared responsibility instead of mutual blame

  • stronger emotional connection through mature conflict skills

This work takes place intentionally online.

The online setting provides a clear and focused framework—especially when conversations escalate quickly, closeness feels difficult, or physical distance is part of your reality.

This page is for couples who are willing to engage honestly with their relationship dynamics and to use online coaching consciously as an opportunity for real change.
